Unexpected Challenges - Cleanliness, Noise, and Lighting Issues

The room was not only unclean, with remnants of body hair likely from shaving and green toothpaste on the sink, but it was also visually unappealing due to the harsh, white lighting that strained the eyes in the room. It's surprising that such conditions exist in a 4-star hotel. I immediately reported these issues to the front desk and requested cleaning. Although they managed to clean the dust, the hair and toothpaste residue lingered in the bathroom (sink and bathtub) for two days. Additionally, the thin walls meant I could hear everything from the neighboring room, affecting my sleep quality. On a positive note, the location of the hotel is excellent, and the reception staff were friendly and made efforts to be helpful.

We had an amazing stay at Almirante in Barcelona, from the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and attentive! Our room was great and came with some great amenities, the cleaning/maid service was also great and we wanted for nothing! We stayed for 5 days and the location is great, you’re close to the Ramblas and the harbour and there are so many great places nearby! The staff were so friendly and we felt really looked after, the staff at the front desk were very kind and they deserve so much credit! There was a gentlemen who wore glasses (unfortunately I didn’t capture his name) and he was fab! We’ll defo stay here again!

The lobby is nice. Coffee in the room. Little fridge is good. Bathroom was huge. Room was huge, we also had a balcony. Front desk was excellent. Very clean. However, and I don't want to add a however, the mattresses, were in bad shape. The most important thing in any hotel is the bed and the bedding. I hope they improve.

The room was nice and clean and in a great location. The staff were kind and helpful. Beds were comfy, good value for money. Bathroom could do with a bit of a makeover. Air conditioning only available in the summer so the room got very hot in the night.

Stayed for a weekend break for my partners birthday. Hotel is in a great location, not too far from the shops, cathedral and beach. Staff were really friendly and helpful, hotel room was spacious and clean. Lovely view from balcony.
